History

Hammer LGC, Inc. was originally founded as "George S. Hammer, General Contractor" incorporated in its present configuration in the fall of 1998. George S. (Sandy) Hammer's vision was to create a company that follows the maxim, "there is nothing that cannot be accomplished with the right attitude, the right people and the right tools."

As a Master Plumber, Sandy knows of what he speaks first hand..he was getting his hands dirty and learning the business long before his company achieved the Native American-owned 8(a) status; he did not apply for the certification in order to learn the construction business.

Sandy is personally involved in all segments of the company's business to ensure the firm's mission, delivering high quality work and client satisfaction, is accomplished on each project. Under his leadership Hammer LGC, Inc. accomplishes this goal utilizing partnership, teamwork, planning, training, communication, attention to detail and holding the belief customers and clients are the most important asset.

Hammer's corporate resume encompasses projects for local, state, and federal agencies and private commercial development. Significant awards include projects for the Department of Defense, Department of Veterans Affairs, General Services Administration, National Institute of Health, National Park Service, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Federal Aviation Administration and many others.
